The Kentucky Oil & Gas Association has just released a very informative data sheet on horizontal drilling and hydraulic fracturing. 

Fireborn Energy Vice President Wes Cate has been elected to a second term on the Kentucky Oil and Gas Association (KOGA) Board of Directors. 

The association revamped its bylaws in 2012 to broaden participation from the membership and promote greater operational transparency. Through a membership nomination and selection process, this 28-member board represents a critical step forward in meeting the intent of KOGA’s strategic plan.

The Kentucky Oil and Gas Association released its first comprehensive research of the economic impact of the state’s oil and gas industry. Dr. Paul Coomes, Professor Emeritus of Economics from the University of Louisville and author of numerous economic impact studies for Kentucky’s industry sectors, conducted the research for KOGA.

At its 77th annual meeting June 19, the Kentucky Oil and Gas Association featured Fireborn Energy in a segment on the economic impact of small oil and gas companies.
